2DH Hydrodynamics and Sediment
Transport Sediment
A 2DH Delft3D schematisation of the Yangtze estuary was
developed covering the area between Nantong Reach the East
China Sea. After calibration the model was used to
investigate:
* the effect of human
interventions in the estuary
* the dredging
requirements in the navigation channels
* the salinity intrusion
into the estuary
* flood risks in the
upstream area |
